Recovering files after a system restore?
Hi - the person I share my computer with did a system restore to the day we got the computer without checking that my files were safely backed up on an external hard drive (words are not enough to express my anger...) and I lost some documents that mean a lot to me.Like,stuff with so much sentimental significance and I'm just wondering, is there anything I can do to system restore lost files? Obviously I'd rather it was free seeing as I don't have a whole lot of disposable income...thanks for any suggestions!
