hi T3000 welcome to the forum! hope you enjoy your stay

I've seen the film : Tony plays Moheseau, a bad guy 02_biggrin.gif He's not the lead actor but we can see him during the whole film. He did two fight scenes, to me they are very good specially the first one ! Tony Jaa had already great skills 04_blink.gif

The big guy is an American who owns a gym in Bangkok and the guy Tony fights at the end is part of his stunt team. Many of those men still work for Panna and Tony.

Byt the way, the film contains english subtitles.

Check out several screencaptures of Mission Hunter 2 04_wink.gif

I agree with you ongkot 02_biggrin.gif 06_rolleyes.gif

We can also see from the screencaptures that Tony really loves that kind of scarf (the red one on his forehead) 32_icon_mrg.gif It is very similar to the one he wears in Tom Yum Goong. Or perhaps it is the same one? 28_suspect_.gif 31_icon_lan.gif

Sawatdee krap!
just a question, what is the year of the film? how old was tony jaa?

mission hunter 2
tony only appears a few times. he has a poor fight scene (not helped by a picture cropped from widescreen to full screen) at the beginning where he does a few nice flips and one at the end which is better but not much to get excited about.

the rest of the film involves a group of mercenaries lurking about in the jungle and fighting some blacked up tribes people and a zombified Panna Rittikrai. its a slight film and only midly entertining.

if you want to see some low budget action directed by and starring tony jaa's mentor panna rittkrai (action director of ong bak, tom yum goong and the sword ) then i highly recommend 'gerd ma lui'. you can see some of tony jaa's style in the way Panna fights and the stuntmen take some nasty hits and falls.

I agree with baron kermit. I would say this movie is only for people who are obsessed with Tony Jaa, and since I'm not, I didn't really enjoy it very much. It's low budget and just...not really a very interesting movie. The main bad guy is cheesy and never stops laughing maniacally. It's an ok movie I suppose, but not really worth it unless you really love Tony Jaa himself and not his martial arts, because he doesn't do much in this movie.

well, tony jaa being in the movie isn't the only reason someone would want to see it. maybe people who are interested in panna ritikrai's body of work would be interested. or people who are interested in the evolution of thai action cinema.
Sawatdee
The film is "symbolic"... one of the first time Tony Jaa appears on screen.

What I am really saying is that the film is so incredibly boring that it isn't worth watching. thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

I agree, an absolute pain to sit through. I brought the widescreen " Battle Warrior" disc and this film nearly killed me.
