Only screening the TYG trailer for a short time in Bangkok International Film Festival last month, It brought the excitement to the film distributors around the world who came to the festival. The owner of Sahamongkol Film can surely makes a lot of profits from this movie.
Sia Jiang (the owner) said “we had a very good feedback from the distributors; they came here just to see the trailer and attended the meeting for 40 minutes and took a flight back to their country after the meeting”. “So far, we got $10 million by selling this movie to Korea, China, India and some countries. Yet, the movie is postponed to be released on August 12 ”.

Sia Jiang said “we want it to be released worldwide the same day on August 12, the filme has to be completed 2 months before, the negative film has to be ready. In Europe we can make it released the same day with us, but in the USA we have to see the result and feedback after Ong Bak which will be released this Feb”

“The soundtrack of this movie, we plan to contact Tata Young (the famous Thai pop singer) to sing two songs, one is in Thai language and another is in English. The sony music, has the right and will be in charge for the songs” Sia Jiang said

Thats cool, Tata is a very talented singer and her voice is actually great in English too....(well obviously, since she's half American)

But newase, I hope TYG comes out soon and is mega successful....I think it will be because of all the hype from the first movie...

if this movie is being released worldwide does that mean it will release in the US on the same date because i havn't heard about that anywhere?
