I think that Tony Jaa looks a lot different than he does in Ong-Bak. Maybe it is because of the clothing, but I think he looks a lot different in TYG than in Ong-Bak. What do you guys think?

his hairstyle is different in the two movies. it's really not strange for an actor to look different in two different movies. take for example tom cruise in each of his three mission: impossible movies.

Look at how different Bruce Lee looked from Fist of Fury to Enter the Dragon. He filled out to his prime physique in Enter. His hair just seemed to get longer an longer and by Enter it was this gigantic thing ontop of his head.

He had better teeth than in Ong Bak. So he looks different.

In the begining i though, maybe is because of the age, but is really the hair style.

We all change years after years I'm sure we all look different compare to last year. Besides he did Ong-Bak in 2001 or 2002 (?) and Tom Yum Goong in 2004-2005 so yes he's older

That coupled with the fact that his wardrobe was just a mess. Whoever gave him that shirt with those horrible pants and a scarf for an action movie needs to change careers. Ong-Bak was a lot more realistic towards what you would wear if you knew you were going to go on a journey where you might possibly get into a fight or nine.

lol sorry. But I was just watching it and I'm just thinking to myself, "who would wear so much clothes when they are getting into fights left and right?" I mean camon, he's fighting a capoira master in like 2 or 3 inches of water and he's wearing like a full wardobe...jacket and everything. I know Tony is the man but camon make it easier on yourself, a t-shirt would do the job fine, lol.

Maybe you are right for someone who is getting into fights he wears too much clothes but in general he looked ok, in my opinion.

I think his haircut makes him look older.
I would like to see more of his ears,
maybe he should keep his haircut but put his hair behind the ears.
Or wear his hair shorter.

it's traditional khmer scarf, they've been wearing it ever since the early 1900's, and if you've seen an indonesian wore one maybe that person is not indonesian. Go on line and search and by fact==No history showing indonesian wearing it.


correction=if they did wore it, it could just had been a coincidence. Anybody could had wore one.

the reason i thought it was indonesian was that i've seen some indonesians wear headbands that too me look like the same material as tony's scarf. could i be confusing the scarf (in TYG) with what the indonesian muslims wear on their heads?
