This is a music video I did during school. I only had two classes to work on so the result will be reflected on the time spent. But there are some scenes I'm pretty happy with in the video.

Please check it out now guys (and girls ^^)

Dang, Shador! That was awesome, and like Anurak said, Windows MOVIE MAKER?! 0483.gif I know you cant help the compression with the source files you were probably working with, but your edits and cuts were spot on with the music (beats)! I have not seen TYG yet as I am in the states, but I am wondering, did you slow the footage down in the slo-mo parts or is that how the source was? (okay, here I am showing my age...) I'm not familiar at all with the music choice, but it seemed to me that the slight background sounds (yelling, etc) were from the clips and not from the music track? Is that right? If so, the layered audio effect between the clips and music track was superb! Great job!!! 0739.gif

Aww thanks for the creds 05_blush.gif

The slow motions scenes were not made by me, movie maker has it's limitations =) And yes the sound from the movie and the song is layered.

I actually wanted to do a video of Ong Bak first but Movie Maker had some problems with .avi files so I had to do TYG instead. I'm trying to find a better editing program now so that I can make one of Ong Bak now, though I'll try and make it a little more artistic too and not all just action.

Again thanks for allt the compliments, that really made my day! :P

I dont know if this is a hobby or a career interest for you (the editing), but you almost cant beat Sony Vegas for a "real" pc-based non-linear editing prg. Its what I use. I dont know what your learning curve is or how much you already know about the process, but seems you have a decent feel for it, so maybe you can download their demo off the Sony Vegas site and get a taste of it. The limit of the demo being it may not let you export or render a final project, but you can definitely see what your project looks like using the tools it offers. It will allow you to work with .avi files imported from anywhere. I've not run into anything it cant do except read my mind for output desires and auto-compress to max quality. (I hate trying to figure out compression!!!) Plus, Vegas allows for unlimited audio tracks that can be tweaked individually...and it has a fairly wonderful Help Tutorial.

Good luck whatever you choose to do! Hope you do another one!

A less expensive and still fun prg to learn on is Pinnacle. You can even get a package for that (@$99usd) which comes with a fabric greenscreen to key for some fun effects.
