That's cool!! Hey, you know the kick that Tony does right at the end of this trailer?? Well, if you look just underneath Tony, there is the black van that is behind our car in this photo. This kick is underneath the Pyrmont Bridge. All these photos that keep popping up everywhere seem to be on top of the Pyrmont Bridge. There must be a massive fight scene done here.

Hello Melanie ! Tom Yum Goong will be released worldwide on 12 august so we will all see the film at the same time (expected the time difference :). Moreover, TYG was filmed in major part in Australia so expect to see it on august. You won't have to wait 2 years to watch it in your cinema :)

I am pretty sure that Tony isn't coming over to Oz for the Ong-Bak release. I actually sent an email on one of the official Ong-Bak sites asking if he would be there and they said that he wouldn't and that he was returning to Thailand to finish filming his new movie, i.e. TYG. (they had a spot on the site where you could email them about his appearances. I think it was the American site, because it only had the American states and towns)

Oh well, I guess I can't be too greedy in how many times I get to meet him!

We had this idea that if he was in Oz for the TYG release, then we would loan our car for the premiere, so that he could turn up in the car to the movie. Of course, we would have tickets to the premiere as well!!! So, cross fingers that he will be out here for the TYG premiere, and you never know, they might want to use our car again... I can only dream...

wow......... The flames in the background makes it look like mortal kombat-ish.

I noticed Jon Foo in the background in the burning buddha temple scene when he tried to stab Tony.

It also took me at least 4-5 times watching it to notice Lateef Crowder is in fighting too from his long hair and all lol.

i really liked in the first trailer where Kham wraps his hand with the rope with the bell on it (i think it was probably a leash?). like in ong bak when he wrapped his hand with his rope belt. it's like he really means business!!!

Snoman hehe, I've just be told few weeks ago that TYG would be finished in June and ready for an August released. But it was few weeks ago and things have probably changed . Seems that they won't be ready in time. Wait and see :)

WOW! Both trailers are better and are very impressive!

I hope that many Thai people will go to cinema and watch this movie to show support to him! I think he can make 10-20 million uk pounds quite easily!(70 baht to a pound!) Or around $30 million dollars from just Thailand alone! Or atleast $15 million dollars! If cinema tickets in Thailand is around 80-150+(!) baht! Thats pretty good!

And quite reasonable amount of money! At his level he(and the movie!) deserves more! or less this amount!

And I do hope that he(and the movie!) gets atleast 10 times the amount that Ong Bak made in money/sales! I know money is not everything but it is a measure of popular recognition in the movie world!

I hope TYG makes atleast 100 million dollars worldwide if not double or times 1.5!!

Then we can really start the boll rolling! Imagine a situation where you-Tony Jaa/Directors/etc. has a choice of any location, any setting, any stars and Tony Jaa starring in it! This has got to be the biggest step! (dream yet!)

I think Tony Jaa movies can be made to a good controlled budget! And most of the money on marketing!! He can then be the first Billionaire from action movies!! It is possible! Not impossible! (I'm a dreamer-predictive dreamer!) You heard it here first on this forum!!

It's impossible to make $30 million in Thailand no matter how good the movie is. The highest total gross that have ever been recorded is around $10 - 15 million (I think).
But, yeah, we expecting a lot of people to come. It's gonna be a phenomenon.

I thought the trailer is pretty bad.
The slow motion is annoying sequence is really annoying. I hope the real thing doesn't contain too much of these sequences.

Not much actions going around, 20 seconds of kicking and jumping, text, zoom at the guy's face, text.

Mind you, I'm still looking forward to this film, and I have no doubt it will rock.

Please god, no excessive slow motion please.

you know, when i was in thailand before the release of Ong Bak, i went to see lord of the rings: two towers and one of the previews was for ong bak... it was probably the longest trailer i had ever seen! they showed almost every fight and stunt scene in the movie!! well, not all of them... but the preview really must have been like 10 minutes long!
