I'm looking for information on the various fighters in Ong Bak:

Saming: Chatthapong Pantanaunkul
Big Bear: Nick Kara
Mad Dog: David Ismalone
Pearl Harbor: Erik Markus Schuetz, sometimes he's called Hans Eric

and the fighter who utilizes lots of footwork, I'm not sure of his name, but he's the second fighter who battles Ting right after Big Bear is defeated. You know who I'm talking about right?

Anyways, is there any information on these fighters? They seem very interesting. I think that Pearl Harbor looks a lot like one of the men seen with Johnny in Tom Yum Goong. Any info on this?
TKD
Yeah the name of the second fighters is a japanese boxer, but he is not a japanese!

Toshiro - Nudhapol Asavabhakhin

But im sorry, i dont have any informations about it!

Thanks for the quick reply. Actually, I thought that nobody would reply so soon because the board has become a little bit inactive for a while. Where is everyone?

Yes I looked up Toshiro and I'm guessing he is Thai? I haven't found any information on him either.

Funny thing is, I thought his name was Don Chila because in the English version, the announcer says something like this "Next fight!!!! Ting versus Don [name]" and it always sounds like Chila (Chee-la) when I hear it.
anurak
i think he's part of muay thai stunt team..? his name looks thai.

i'll check making of ong bak dvd when i get home.

Aye, he kinda goes "TOOOOOOOOSHIROOOOOOO!"
TKD
no he doesn't say Don chilaa... put the subtitles, he says TOSHIRO...but it's true that it sound like Don cheela!

The first time that i watch the movie, i understood "DON JUAN" 01_smile.gif lol

But yeah, i think he is in the stunt team of tony jaa!
anurak
first time i saw it, i thought he had a chinese name: to chi-lo

haha i was close!

Lol, on the English version, if you put the subtitles on, it never says anything about the character. The subtitles don't say "Next fight, Ting the Pradu Master...versus....Toshiro!" it just skips it and continues on.
eddy wang
Here the traduction is: the next fight ting the pradu legend and they don't put toshiro but i understand TOOOSHIROOO.
