It was december 2004, i was boring during this periode 09_dry.gif i have lote of free time, well my head call me for buy some movie, then i decid to shop some dvd, but i was confused about which movie i must take, i decid to take an arts martial movie, i suggest to my self looking for hong kong movie style.
after some time i enter to boutique shop.
i meet the responsable of boutique, i ask him if he have a news movies of JACKIE CHAN or JET LI , he show me the catalogue of new movies ...i remember i dont find nothing of new because i have seen all .
Between pictures of catalogue i was remark one strange picture, i ask the responsable about the actor and movie..he told me: - yes this is a thai movie(ONG BAK)
i looking in the picture about name of this actor, i find "PANOM YEERUM" im really surprised because i havn't seen before thai arts martial movies besides i havn't any idea about.
believe me if i say i ask the responsable to change me this movie i was thinking that i will find it bad, i was stupide.. 16_shock.gif ....but i have luck because the guy invite me to take this movie he told me that i find a god stuff, special actor, new art martial, new cascades, not computer graphic then, wink2.gif i accept to take it after , i go back to home.
i tend directly to(tv room) i turn on the tv and dvd machine i pute the dvd.
the first thing i have is the presentation(sahamongkol film and baa raam ewe)after that the movie begins i remark the yellow flog up of the greatest tree..when the camera make down i looking many young people coated by clay..suddently the race begin all boys run and climb the tree for get the flog, i was glad when i watch people fall down hardly from the tree to the ground, i have really seen a true stunts, true cascades...thats i always looking about.
between all the people whose try to catch the flog, one young boy( about 22 or 23 year i was thinking sweatingbullets.gif ).catch it first and jump from branch to other like monkey and jump to the ground and win the competition.....yes this young was panom yeerum"ting"( before i know tony jaa name) .
The tree scene form in my head the first ideas about tony jaa and ong bak and thai movie.
the second scene interest me also(tony jaa training) i see a new art martial i havn't seen before in movies ..i know only the name (muay thai or thai boxing). this new art leave a good feeling in my spirit 02_biggrin.gif , the movements of the young boy was great 24_wow.gif , he execute the traditionnale muay thai demo near of the tremple.
After the stolen of head of ong bak(budhaa)the real spectacle begins for me...i was glad from the fights of tony jaa in he club versus pearl harbor and big bear and the other people in addition the escape from the gang was perfect ....tony present his best, really he execute a great stunts...i like also the fire on foot of tony....i finished the movie i liked the last fight scene.
believe me if i say i was seen ong bak two times again in the same day it was amazing to me...
so i start looking about tony in internet ....after some time i was been fan..and get honor for be member in tony jaa.org 19_tongue.gif [b]

Well ,
i remember we watched K-1 and commentator mentioned Tony Jaa and Ong Bak several times.

This was the first time when i heard his name and, to be honest, didn`t pay much attention to it. 0146.gif But in two or three days my sister and i went to buy some CDs and i saw Ongbak. My thought was like... what a coincidence! 14_ohmy.gif Iwas curious why he was so impressed by this movie plus the cover was very nice. So I bought it and was never disappointed. 32_icon_mrg.gif

Maroccano, nice to know your story.

I saw Ong-Bak at my friends house after her thinking about giving it to me as a late bithdaypresent when we instead saw it at her place when I found the interest of seing it.

I really liked the movie and thought and talked alot about it. I also saw Panom in thai tv and liked him alot.

My friend borrowed me the movie later and it worrked in my computer (it was VCD) wich made me really happy.. I saw it alot of times, surfed around read alot about him.. Waited for the next movie and so on and so on..
