ah! thank you a lot 02_biggrin.gif
eh I believed that hamley was dead 04_blink.gif ,i don't understand why Luc Besson have deleted this scene (to me,it seems that this scene is important to understand that he is not dead)
Sawatdee
Actually they filmed two versions : one where George dies and one where he doesn't die. Prachya Pinkaew choose to keep the version where George die, so it's not Luc Besson who deleted this scene.

In an interview (I just read it this morning !!) Tony said : "The reason we chose the one that he did die is to depict that he is a selfless person. Once he was a person that can live on his own and is able to survive but now you see he is selfless and that is a good characteristic."
Xiphos
I have seen both of the endings and I think they should of kept the one when George doesnt die. It was sad. 08_cry.gif

Oh, I see!! 06_rolleyes.gif I was a bit confused at seeing him alive with his father in that shot when I was first looking at the pics. 04_blink.gif Then, when you explained it, it all made sense. It is a shame that he died in the end. Very sad. 22_weep.gif We couldn't believe it when we saw it!

Perhaps an alternate ending would have been good, like they did in the movie 'Stigmata'... 07_cool.gif

Sawatdee, I am still in awe at how you get your hands on al this information!!!! 010_freak.gif 16_shock.gif It is great!!

all of these screencaps came from the thai DVD.
Sawatdee
Actually I made the screencaps from the japanese dvd because the picture is clearer than in the thai dvd. But you can find the deleted scenes in the thai dvd bonus too ;)
Ogami musashi

Is there any thai dvd with english subtitles?

Hi everybody!

I saw the movie, the last week. I downloaded it 1 month, but I didn't know, what is it, so I didn't watch, but the last weekend I watchd it...Twice
I think the Ong-Bak was the greatest fighting movie, what I saw the last 10 year. I like the JackieChan movies, but the OngBak is better..

By from Hungary!

I don't have access to the deleted scenes either, so sad, they look great. Where could I buy a copy of that DVD that includes the deleted scenes?
Sawatdee
On the Ong-Bak Thai DVD, the Japanese DVD, the UK DVD or on the Australian DVD. I think that's all sweatingbullets.gif

In the UK DVD, the alternate ending is played to the Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers soundtrack. Is this in the other DVD's and why did they choose that music.
Sawatdee
I don't think the LOTR soundtrack is played on the other DVD's. Why this music ? I don't know ;)
