If you haven't heard about it yet and you love stylish action/film noir, do yourself a favor and check out the two movie trailers for Frank Miller's "Sin City" HERE:

http://www.apple.com/trailers/miramax/sin_city/

The video clips look amazing, the story sounds like modern noir, the cast is an all-star lineup, preliminary critics' reviews are excellent and I cannot WAIT to see it in theaters in April.

I'd have to say spielbergs War of the Worlds or George lucas' Star Wars episode 3: revenge of the sith. I am a big fan of sci-fi movies.
Im A Rock Star
Jessica Alba is my wife. That's why i bought the April GQ issue but I had no idea Jaa was in there. It was suprising
16_shock.gif , Great issue.

Wait... does that have anything to do with the topic?

Jessica Alba's career is really skyrocketing, so you're gonna be seeing her a lot more than before (I think her next movies after "Sin City" will be "Fantastic Four" and "Into the Blue"). Personally, I'm not a huge fan of her acting. Like many young male and female celebrities, she's coasting purely on sex appeal right now. Which is all right, but she'll need to develop something else if she wants to stay on Hollywood's radar once she hits middle age.

Lucky! I want to see it when it opens on Friday, but can't because I'll be on a class trip until Sunday...then there's work and homework to catch up on so bleh...probably won't get to see it till next week.

Yeah, I think that movie will be great. Cant wait till tomarrow.

I saw the trailer and read about it (haven't even seen it yet though) and it looks amazing. It got an 18A rating here in Canada mostly for the Kill Bill-like violence, I hope it's as good.

I've seen it thursday night. Great movie. I loved it. It was also really gorey.

will wait for the dvd hehehee, just not to much faith in american movies for me anymore, so i'll wait awhile, but i'm not waiting for Unleashed when it comes out, can't wait to see a good fight scene with Jet Li and choreographed by Yuen Woo Ping 45_swords.gif , haven't seen that in along time so i will be going to see that for sure. 0359.gif

My current girlfriend right now loved that movie HONEY when it came out. I watched it with her I didn't think it was all that. But I just watched it to watch Jessica Alba move her body. 0146.gif

Hey, the first 3 minutes of "UnLeashed" (the opening fight sequence) is up for an unknown amount of time - check out the link here: http://forum.tonyjaa.org/index.php?act=ST&f=9&t=391

I am absolutely looking forward to EpisodeIII!! I think it'll be, by far, my favorite of the series. Kinda hard to tell, but it's going to rock. I saw a preview for it again today when I was watching the animated series of the Clone Wars from Genndy Tartakovsky on DVD.

Another movie that I have yet to see a preview for, but am definitely looking forward to is Willie Wonka^.^ Yay Burton!! Tell me I'm not the only one?

lookin forward to willie wonka; i think johnny depp will be great. he's come a long way since jump street; he's not just a pretty-boy that i'm totally jealous of anymore. now he's a great actor that i'm totally jealous of.

Is anybody gonna see kung fu hustle?
snoman
yeah i think after watching it at home, i'm still going to support it and go see that in theaters when its released worldwide finally, i think april 22nd here. 02_biggrin.gif
Xiphos
I've never seen it. Is it good?
anurak
stephen chow's movies are hilarious. one of the actors is a well-respected hung kuen sifu (chiu chi ling). everyone who i've spoken to who has seen kung fu hustle has enjoyed it. i plan on seeing it in theaters if i get a chance.
snoman
i thought it was pretty damn good, nice to see some old school flavor again and comedy. and the old actors and actresses stuff like that, thats wonderful when they do appearances like in this movie. i'm sure you'll enjoy it 02_biggrin.gif
Xiphos
I will have to check it out then. Is it better than shaolin soccer?
snoman
umm, my opinion i kinda liked it better yes, some might not, will be up to what your preference is, but you know how stephen chow's humor is so yes check it out for a good time 19_tongue.gif

I adore Stephen Chow and snatched a copy of Kung Fu Hustle as soon as I could. I love his movies and not just because of their silly, slapstick humour and adorable characters, but he always has a valuable lesson tucked neatly into each film that always brings a joyful tear to my eye.

But even though I cheated and bought the movie before it's even out here in the states, I'm still going to cheer it on in the theater^.^
radeon
there gonna come sin city 2 if you don't already know

Wow. I didn't think he was gonna make a sequel. This is some of the best news I've heard in a while. Sin City was the best movie I've seen. Thanks for the info man, it made my day. And as for Star Wars... well, c'mon, you gotta see that. Oh I also saw Kung Fu Hustle. I like the way it was made. It was funny, action packed and a little odd. I have yet to see Shaolin Soccer.

The most anticipated movie in France for 2005 is certainly star wars episode 3.I'll watch it several times 01_smile.gif
