That may sound stupid or funny, but i just get to the conclusion that the Sport wich can generate death, broken bones and etc its not MA but football.

In MA peoples know they can hurt each other badly, so the competitors have a great respect to each other, and motsly of time try to perform a battle without serious damages.

Football its another history, everybody loves football, and seems to be a sport that generates violence, riot, Foes and even DEATH!!

I was getting wonder, why peoples that like football, hates MA's Sports?
I ask to manny football Maniacs, they said to me, MA is a dangerous and violent sport, peoples gets hurt, and i don't like because of this, i hate fights.

Well after a big game, you can see the same Fanatic with beer's bottle in the hand ready to hit someone, its actually funny how manny MA's Sports always ends well, different from Football that almos every Big Game, generates Riots, Deaths, Serious Injuries and even Foes, in every place of the country... 04_blink.gif

l can well believe football begets violence, though it has improved.
Not all football fans are thugs, its the minority that give fb such a bad name. 03_angry.gif

I LOVE football! (and of course, MA!)

It's true, I got more injuries from playing football way more than MA. But football fans around here are not as violent as those in other countries, like Britain. 02_biggrin.gif

To be truly honest, I like football more than MA... YES, I SAID IT! rofl.gif
I'm one of the few who still truly believe that someday, Thailand will compete in the World Cup. 155_Thailand.gif

I practiced 3 styles of MA. First Taekwondo, no injuries at all. And then Togakure-ryu ninjutsu and army-style muaythai, dislocated my shoulder a couple of times. But with football, man, I can write a term paper out of it. When you're playing football or rooting for your team you feel like you're part of the crowd it can instill so much passion in you that it can easily turn into violence. And any sports that involve kicking are always dangerous.. I've been playing football since I was 5 and then seriously when I was in high school. I've seen a guy got his leg broken cause he was in a way when another guy was trying to shoot. Once I hit my own head on another bloke's trying to win a header. 0014.gif Got meself four stitches. And the list goes on..

Yes, football is VERY dangerous. And VERY FUN! 31_icon_lan.gif

Football is a part of my life, i can't live without it, i always watch football games on tv specially "la liga" of spain and of course FC barcelona and Real madrid beside international competitions, i play football but lately not to much because i practice full contact, in my opinion the both sports are dangerous i got hurts many times in football (toes, ankle, knee, nose, ball in the balls 32_icon_mrg.gif , ball in the face)but even all this i love it so much its like a drogue for me but i think MA is much risked because the fighter in some fight don't know if can finish his fight alive or not, beside the serious injuries and even all this i love it also , MA is imporant for me.

There's definitely a truth in this. I mean just looking at the sports themselves, regardless of the fans - statistically Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is safer than football and the other big combat sport, Boxing. I believe there's only been 1 recorded death in MMA in around 2 decades, there are less injuries, it's better regulated and refereed, and I guess since the fighters KNOW how tough they are, they don't have to posture and throw their weight around like some athletes in other sports might.

The deadliest sport of them all is auto racing 04_blink.gif
