That was great, thanks so much!! 65_080402co.gif I can't believe how many times they are showing the stuff that was filmed on the Pyrmont Bridge!! There must be a massive, massive scene revolving around it. I think it is because, maybe, this is the first time that he sees Johnny. I am only going off the little bits that I have seen of the movie. Hmm, maybe I shouldn't be revealing anything to you... 13_naughty.gif

You know what? One day I watch Thai news about Tony Jaa. The news also talked about a fansite that is created by foriegners.

I think it must be this site: Tonyjaa.org

01_smile.gif Very likely they were referring to this site! Even Mr. Prachya Pinkaew said something about a fansite when he was on the twilight show. 010_freak.gif He said something like : "They follow every news about us. I'm pretty sure even this show will end up on the site." That's when the host goes, "Oh, really? [to us] How do you do?!" 24_wow.gif

Melanie
Ok Sawatdee, just for you I'll say something. 01_smile.gif

Well, there is a scene where Tony is in the back of a police car, when he sees Johnny and the other bodyguards get into our car (hooray!!!) and the black van (the one that Tony jumps off the back of at the end of the first movie trailer and knees that guy to the ground - it is the pic that Danny has as his avatar at the moment) and Tony is in handcuffs. He makes the police car crash, by putting his handcuffed hands around the driver's neck and gets out of the car and runs up the street chasing our car ( 13_naughty.gif ) and the black van. It then, I think, somehow ends up underneath the Pyrmont Bridge and Tony is on top of the black van fighting one of the bodyguards. Yep, I think he actually gets on top of the black van while it is still moving!! 24_wow.gif Then there is the scene on top of the Pyrmont Bridge. Can't really tell you much better how the sequence will go, because, you know how they film different stages at different times and days?? It is a bit confusing... 20_unsure.gif

Ok, hope I don't get into trouble about telling you guys some of TYG!! I get scared telling you stuff because I don't want to spoil it for anybody. Mind you, the car was only around the set for four days, and not even all of the time I was there!! So, I guess I can't really tell you much anyway!! 02_biggrin.gif

I hope this kind of makes sense...

I should probably add that Mum Jokmok is ordering Thai takeaway and David (can't remember his last name. He is the French/Thai actor I talked about before??) is the driver. So, Mum Jokmok gets back in to the car and Tony tries to point out Johnny getting into our car. Both police officers tell him to shut up. Poor Tony...

So this happens before the crash. Ok, enough said!!! 04_wink.gif

thanks for the info melanie!!

i think we're all trying to imagine what the scene will look like...!! can't wait for the movie-- for sure prachya, tony, and mum will make it look better than i can imagine!
Melanie
no worries! 01_smile.gif

After the police crash, Tony gets out of the car and runs up the street. This is the first time that I saw Tony. After he ran up the street and they said 'cut' on one of the takes, he was walking back down the street and he looked over and I smiled at him and he gave me a huge smile back!! 13_naughty.gif I said to my husband that he just smiled at me and he better watch out!! Te he 32_icon_mrg.gif

Hmm, ok, that sounds kinda lame. Guess it was one of those things that you just had to be there for!!... 05_blush.gif

I wonder... how did Tony take off his handcuffs?? lol that could be a spoiler could it.
Sawatdee
Thanks a lot Melanie 49_033102ki.gif
Just have to wait now 13_naughty.gif
Melanie
Oh yeah!! Hey, Danny, I never thought about that!! 71_laugh.gif Hmm, I actually don't know. Maybe he used his brute strength!!! Te he.

Well, they aren't real handcuffs anyway... 04_wink.gif

No probs Sawatdee. Glad you liked it!! 13_naughty.gif

Someone who played in TYG posted on this forum and talk about a scene he had with Tony Jaa :

QUOTE
I kick him, he hits me 4 times and I react and act out the pain until the final hit where I act out getting knocked the fook out and fly backwards.... but the flying part isnt acting... he hits hard. The reason Ong Bak looks so cool is the action is contact, hes real nice during the rehearsal and you think its going to be ok but then when they say rolling.... he starts laying into you heh. I was supposed to get knocked out and fall FORWARD on my face, but he kneed me in the chest hard enough to send me flying backward instead. I got it easy though, there were Thai guys that got elbowed in the face hard or kicked in the head hard..... s@cks to be them! We all wear tons of body armor under our clothes so that helps alot... except theres no armor for the face of those Thai guys.

Ooh, ya I had to run up to Tony Jaa and dodge a freaking elephant that was storming towards me... well, it was a baby elephant, but it could have stepped on my foot and caused a bruise!

hehe it's hard to be a stuntman on Tony Jaa's films 32_icon_mrg.gif

LOL! I love the way this guy words things. "Dodge a freaking elephant..." I found that hilarious, though it probably wasn't at the time for him. I don't know what I'd do if I was trying to dodge an elephant. Baby or no!

Isn't it awesome that Tony and Co. are taking the time to check in on the forum and to even post! That's so very sweet of them to take the time. If I were involved in acting on the big screen, I would definitely want to keep in communication with fans (assuming of course I had them, lol!). I wouldn't want to get a "big head" you know?

Do we know the name of the gentleman that posted this? Or was it posted and I just didn't see? Well, in any case THANK YOU Mr.Rockin' stuntman!
Sawatdee
HDD, this gentleman's name is Damian Mavis 02_biggrin.gif. He did not posted here but I've found his story on this forum http://www.defend.net/deluxeforums/showthread.php?t=15467 19_tongue.gif
HeavenlyDragonDancer
Hey Sawatdee!

Oh! Thank you so much for providing his name and for correcting me on where he posted. Regardless, I still think it's great that Tony has taken the time to post to us. ^.^
Thanks again!

Namaste.
Melanie
Aw, thanks HDD!! 53_friends.gif

Poor Damian hey?? Te he. Like I have said previously, they know what they are getting into!!! 04_wink.gif

It's funny that he says that because I can remember hubby saying that the kick that Tony does to the stunt guy that is in the air off the back of the black van (Danny's avatar at the mo) was a kick that hit really hard! He remembers seeing a few takes of it, and just being in awe. He said that the stunt guy would get up afterwards and smile and nod his head and hold his chest, as if to say "good one!" and they would get back up and do it again!! 04_blink.gif Hubby was saying if that was him, then he would be done for the day from the first take!! Hahahaha!! Can't blame him! I definitely would be too!!!
