The english version of Ong Bak is not realesed yet... The movie will be realesed in USA only on november.

The french version is different of the thai because some scenes were deleted (no action scenes, only "speaking scenes").

Sawatdee said : "The french version is different of the thai because some scenes were deleted (no action scenes, only "speaking scenes")." DONT YOU LISTEN TO HIM !!! this is bullshit, there are no deleted scenes in the french dvd. there even are bonus and the behind the scenes on the french dvd.
Boxe tha?,muay tha?, Muay Boran, kung fu, karate, Krabi Krabang, Kendo, all these arts combined = Tony jaa
Luc Besson made france discovered this guy in 2002.
1st time i saw this guy i was like damn ! he' s a fuckin Supa Sayen !
In this movie i saw some muaytha? combos i never saw before.
most special technics done in Ong-Bak cannot be done in competitions, too dangerous.

First of all, hello to all the fans 01_smile.gif

The french DVD has 2 versions: thai version and the french one.
It is true that some scenes were cut in the french version, but the thai version is uncut.I personnaly prefer the thai version which is much better than the french one (besides original music is better than the rap of the french dvd )
I intend to buy the 'making of' ong bak from ethai.com (it costs 15 $,what a bargain 13_naughty.gif )
As a conclusion, the french DVD is worth buying because it includes the original thai version and the demos of Jaa in france. Then buy the thai making of and the book and you will have it all about ong bak 04_wink.gif

The thai making of is 80 minutes, and the making of in the fench DVD is 50 minutes; I don't know if it's the same making of,however the thai one lasts longer (so,there are new stunts if it's the same making of); besides the thai making of got an alternate end of ong bak and 'unsen clips'.And it's only 10.5 $ , that is 8 euros shipping included. 04_wink.gif

Exactly 01_smile.gif . I have both and I think it worths to buy the thai making of 04_wink.gif
