I was wondering is TYG going to be released in Australia? Like not DVD in the theraters. Cause Ong Bak was, just wondering.

And also Ong Bak is coming to DVD in Australia August 24th so cant wait for that.

Yeah i hope it does get released fairly soon in Australia since it was filmed here. I'm sure Nathan Jones would want it that way aswell.

Didn't someone buy the rights to air it in cinemas over here?
I'm not sure it will come out any earlier though.

Can someone explain why small foreign movies are harder to distribute and get the rights too since they don't have that big of a budget?

Here in Aus, we didn't get Ong Bak in cinemas for a fairly long time.

Are you shirting me?!?!!? 2006 thats ages away. Who has the distributing rights, need to get in contact and get them to release sooner. 80% pf the movies in Aus so we should get it soon, not last. Also it needs better marketing, Ong Bak had terrible marketing here I was lucky to see ONE ad in the paper and a tiny review saying how good it was.

Yeh who has distributing rights if anyone knows? Gotta get in contact. How come Australia gets it last when most of the movie is set in Australia. Strangness

I guess they're trying to promote more tourism by tempting ppl to come to thailand just to see the movie as well?

Lol im not gonna fly to Thailand to see the movie. Maybe if I had alot of money lol. But who has its distibuting rights for other countrys. Look at these dates.

What the shirt, makes no sense, most of the movie is IN Australia, so it make sense to have it brought here sooner not waaaaaaay later, like after everyone else has it.

If that was the true Aus release date then the tonyjaa.org guys would have added it to the list. Ong Bak came out in the UK after it came out in Australia so I'm sure it will come out here early next year, which is still far too long to wait! That movie looks awesome!
