Hello everybody.

I think most of us here is gonna have TYG the game. So I wrote this thread so that if we find any bugs in the game, we can report it here. Bug report is gonna help the game company improve their product so that in the future we are gonna have better games.

Sawatdee, I think it would be a good idea to pin this thread next to the TYG the Game thread :) so that it does not fall behind. After a while you might wanna let it go. :)

This thread is not only for technical bug, but also for your opinion how to make this game better.

If you want people to give their opinion about the game, then I think you should edit the description on the topic (something like "give your opinion + report eventual bugs") because when I've seen the topic I thought their was already a bug

Every game has bugs. There is no way that the team can hunt all bugs. The thing they can possibly do the best is kill the top priority bugs. This rule has no exception even games from EA.

I was just wondering. In the requirements they said a support game pad is needed. Is that like a joystick or some game controller? Because if it is then I have to go buy one.

no no.
It said "support game pad." It means if you dont have a game pad, you can still use your keyboard to control the game. But if you are lucky having a game pad, you can use it for more enjoyment.

So, no need to buy one. But if you want one, you could.

This game is pretty cool to play. Especially the extras cd that includes the 30 moves of muay thai explained by TJ, Jaa Phanom's interview about the game and message to all fans, and thanking TonyJaa.org and other sites for creating website for him.

Unfortunately for me, my computer isn't best used to play the game anymore these days. Its getting old.

Hi ongkot. I am having a good time It rains from time to time but most of the time it is sunny and warm.

Anyways I have just begun taking a break from playing Tom Yum Goong the game. the game is very enjoyable to play especially when you use those special counterattacks that involves TJ's grappling techniques. But the problem is that the game runs slow on my machine. Not just on my own 2 yr old laptop, but my cousin's fresher 1 yr old laptop. I don't know whats going on. Not only that the game works slow but sometimes I get kicked out of the game and sent back to the main desktop and says video error or something.The lagging sure does reduce the enjoyment of the game. But nonetheless the game is GREAT when played without computer flaws. Does anyone know how to fix the problems of slow moving, lagging games? Help is appreciated.

Oh yeah I've encountered SURPRISING characters who appear as bosses that TJ fights.

1) Kham battles Panna

2) Kham battles "Ble_Da_Boss" at the end of stage 3. (who reminds me of Ble3d coz of the "Ble" in the front of the name. No offense sir. haha.)

I was like Laughing my ass off. I had to use lots of healing glass elephants to refill my health coz ble_da_boss's attacks causes serious damage especially with his axe!

I've tried to play the game but... I can't even install it !! Here is what i have :



A white screen, then the computer is blocked and the cd turns really fast in the driver
My computer has enough memory and space because it was formated few days ago... DirectX is installed and all the windows applications are close. Maybe I miss a codec or something ?

Anyway idea ?

Lots of strange things indeed. Just then, when I made it to stage 4 which is the boat chase level, the game's speed has from bad to worst. I saved the game and exited, and when I tried to load my saved file, the game automatically boots me out to the main desktop. Can you help us ble3d please? I already can tell the game is really easy to get into.

Most of the problem that I saw people complain the most is that the game is really slow. I believe that it's because the game was developed under Dark Basic. I think it's understandable for the team because this is their first one. They have no prior exprience. On the other hands, using C++ to develop will make the game run incredibly faster, but it comes with price. C++ requires lots of programming skill. If they were using C++, they might not be able to ship the game on time. From the above, it seems like Dark Basic was the perfect candidate.

Now they have some experience of what it takes to make games. I wish that they will use C++ on the next project. It means that the game will run faster. As a consequence, players dont have to have high end machine to play it which means they can sell more games to more audience.

Did you contact the tech support? I do not get the game yet. Still waiting. When you get the reply from the tech support, please let me know how to fix it. I also wanna know it, too.

Umm..I don't know where to post if you need help in the game, so I'll try my luck asking in this thread. If this is the wrong place to post then just delete this post or move it Sawatdee.

Anyways I'm already stuck in the first stage of the game where you enter the first temple ruins you come across and there are like 3 doors that you can't enter. Do you have to do something with the wood that you come across earlier or do you have to beat all the three guys prior to entering the ruins? If it deals with the wood, what do you do with it because I don't know how to pick it up and if if it deals with the guys I'm screwed and have to start over because I skipped them and entered the ruins so if I go back out I'll see them by the entrance of the ruins but I can't fight them, neither do they chase me...I think this may be a bug in the game..So please, any help or advice will be greatly appreciated...Thank you

One more thing, if you do not install DirectX to your computer will the game be much slower because I know it is required or will you not be able to execute combo attacks? I'm having trouble doing combos, I'm pressing the buttons in order and doing them exactly like they tell me but its like if the combo is P P P P K, Jaa will do the 4 punch combo but will not kick.

And finally, just some suggestions on the game. I think it'll be cool if Tony is able to climb trees and is not so limited in the space he can wander around like it'll be nice if he was able to roam the forest with bad guys following him using the trees to jump back and forth and dropping a kick on them from above.

finally i installed the game on the freshest and most newest laptop that belongs to my mom. The game finally moves smoothly but sometimes I get kicked out from time to time to the main desktop. But the game still lags on level 3. Anyways i beated the game. there are lots of bizarre things that happens like cameo appearances and such. And I recommend that you use the glass elepahnt healing items wisely even though they're abundant in the game. Later you will encounter groups of characters that won't be so easy to beat. they ARE tough. especially lateef, Madam rose, and a duo thats a pain in the ass to kill without being cheesy and using all the counter moves. and when u face nathan jones for the first time, don't bother fighting him. just waste time running around until the cops arrive and then move onto the next level.
nice game overall.

about the pieces of wood on the first level, you must use it to form a bridge across the river to progress. You'll see elephant items on the other side.

For me, I didnt pass level one yet (what a shame). I got beat up by random bad guys.

i got the game yesterday!! luckily for me, i already have a gamepad (which i had from playing computer hockey games). it's quite easy to play with using the gamepad. i made it to stage 3 already and i have even been able to make p'jaa do a combination that ends with the "jarakhe fahd hang" move which is really cool to do because you hear him call it out in the game! he does a couple punches, some elbows and knees, and then does the spinning back kick and shouts "jarakhe fahd hang!" cooooooool!!! it runs fairly smooth on my laptop (pentium M, 1.5GHz, 512MB ram), with just a few moments of slow-down.

I am stuck in stage 4. In this level, you have to complete a timed boat race. Dispite going max speed and not hitting any objects, I fail this mission. I never slow down as I keep my finger on the gas button. The speed on my computer seems normal. If anybody has passed this level, please tell me what you did. I hate races. Somebody tell me that there is only one stage to this race. Please!

So far all the levels have been easy. I look forward to the other levels where it has been reported the bosses are hard.

I am not really a great gamer so if the levels are really hard i will have a hard time beating them, and i really want to get beat as i advance and have more fun.

if i remember correctly, the boat race has 2 stages. i don't know how to describe what to do in detail because everything kind of looks the same. in the last stage, you must drive the boat over many jumps. make sure you do the jumps. hope everything works out for you! sorry i can't be more helpful.

Are there more then one button for speed? It does not appear that i am going fast enough to beat the time for stage 4. I don't hit anything but the ramps and i always run out of time.

I've played this level so many times i really know the river turns so I never slow down becaues i don't need to. Perhaps I am not hitting the correct buttons to boost my speed.

One of my friends just watch me play and he tought I played perfect. He is going to try tomorrow. It would be a shame if this is as far as i get. Help, I want to fight some hard bosses.

Harris, it sounds to me like you are doing the right things. i only used 1 button for a speed boost. i'm sorry but i am stumped. if i find anything out i will be sure to let you know. i'm sorry i can't help, and i hope someone else can be more helpful.

Thanks for trying but i have one question. Is there a difference between pushing a button to go forward and using a speed boost button?

When i am playing I just steer and hit a single buton to move forward. Should i be doing something else? I know when you use inventory you have to press two. Maybe i missing this?

I found out what my problem is. On this stage the game is running slow on my machine. Becaues it lags, when i turn corners with the boat, and the time clock does not, I never
beat the clock.

I am going to copy the files over to a faster computer to beat this level.

Thanks everyone for the help. It was not really aware of the lag as i was trying so hard to beat this level.

Maybe I missed something but I cannot figure out how to pick up the wood, could someone please help? On the plus side I'm getting really good at kick the bad guys around
